This is an exclusive opportunity to visit the inside of Toyosu Fish Market with a professional master sushi chef. Delight yourself with a fresh sushi lunch prepared by this chef. Tour also includes a visit to the old Tsukiji Fish Market and the nearby Ginza area.

Overview

This is an exclusive opportunity to visit the new Toyosu Fish Market’s private trade area, meant for licensed buyers only, with a professional master sushi chef. This master sushi chef has been a regular buyer for over 50 years and owns a well-known sushi restaurant. Learn how this sushi chef checks for fresh ingredients everyday by observing how he makes his purchases at Toyosu Fish Market. Feel free to ask questions to the chef! The guide will happily translate for you.

After visiting the Toyosu Fish Market, while the chef prepares the best seasonal omakase sushi lunch back at his restaurant, our English-speaking guide will show you the old Tsukiji Fish Market. It’s no longer the main fish market but visitors still enjoy visiting the outer market that remains. You will also visit the nearby fashion area of Ginza and see Kabuki Theatre Museum. You can choose to return to your accomodation to rest while waiting for lunch time.

The meeting time is early and it’s important that you arrive on time. The tour cannot proceed if your party isn’t present at the meeting point at the specified meeting time. If you prefer pick up service by taxi from your accommodation directly to meeting point in Ginza/Tsukiji, we can arrange that at an additional cost. Please inquire.

Please dress accordingly for the fish market as your shoes and clothes may get dirty.
