Overview

South of Nagoya, close by the coast lies a little town with a rich history. At the end of the 12th Century, Tokoname was known for its pottery and ceramics. Tokoname town is a historic pottery town; jars and cups produced there seem to be perfect for preserving and tasting the delicous Hakurou Sake, also produced in the area. Combining the use of pure, natural ingredients and traditional techniques and tools, a superior quality sake is produced – their sake has won multiple awards over the years.
