Departing from Nagoya, discover history, culture and tradition of ancient Japan in Inuyama, a castle town when you can admire of the last 5 still original Japanese castle. Immerse yourself in the ancient atmosphere and traditions. Learn the secrets of the local crafts such as Aka-e Inuyama-Yaki pottery and karakuri doll, known also as “Edo-era robot”.

Kimono rental is also available at additional cost.

Itinerary

1Departure from Nagoya

Transfer from Nagoya to Inuyama by private transportation.

2Inuyama-yaki Pottery Experience

The traditional Inuyama ceramic with red painting was appreciated by members of the upper class since ancient time. Learn about history of Inuyama-yaki and make your own ceramic cup.

3Inuyama Naritasan Jinja

Transfer to Inuyama town and visit of the Daishoji Naritasan Jinja and Kiso River, where it’s possible to assist at the incredible Cormoran Fishing from June to October.

4Inuyama Castle

Visit of one of the last 5 original Japanese castles and the surrounding area of Inuyama Castle Town. There’s a great ancient atmosphere and traditional shopping street.

5Karakuri Doll Museum

Karakuri mechanic dolls are also called “Edo-era Robot”. Discover more in the local museum.

• Return to Nagoya around 18:00 PM

Cancellation Policy

• You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel 15 days or more before the start of the tour. If you cancel 14 days before the start of the tour, we will refund the amount paid less any non-recoverable upfront costs incurred by HATAGO on your behalf – rentals, admissions, reservations, etc.
• If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to departure, no refund is given.
